Communicate Difference

 

I believe that diversity in the workplace is very important as well as beneficial. Diversity allows for new and fresh ideas from people that have different worldviews and come from different walks of life. It brings a new level of collaboration to life in the workplace. Diversity also creates a welcoming atmosphere in the workplace, this creates a place where many people would enjoy working.

In this image, the four people show diversity in race and gender. Each person in the photo has an idea or thought that is a puzzle piece. If the pieces go together the puzzle is completed. This is an example of what I mentioned before that diversity brings in new ideas that other people might not have thought of, this creates a new level of collaboration.
